Come join us to celebrate the 2021 Balcones Country Club Sharks swim season and all of the accomplishments from these amazing  swimmers.  We will having burgers, hot dogs and the bar will be open.  

Here are some a few of the things we announce:

• Voting on 2022 Board Positions 
• Swimmer accomplishments  (records, high point winners, Invitational qualifiers, most improved etc)
• Announce the winner of our 2022 T-shirt drawing contest
• Coaches awards 
• The last Sharks swim party after our last announcement! 

Swimming Proficiency Policy

BCC Sharks is not a learn-to-swim program, nor do we have the ability to assign a coach to each swimmer. Therefore, swimmers without basic swimming skills pose a safety issue to themselves and a potential liability to the team. The swimmer should already have some basic swimming skills before joining the team. Prior to the registration deadline, new BCC Sharks swimmers will have two opportunities to be evaluated on their swimming ability (see calendar for dates). The swimmer must be able to swim 25 yards (one length of the pool), unassisted as determined by the head coach. There are local businesses who offer winter/spring swim lessons to help your child prepare for the swim evaluation.

It is strongly advised that if you feel your swimmer may not meet the swimming proficiency requirement that you wait to register them for the team until after they have successfully completed the swimming evaluation. We will not offer full refunds for cancelled registrations. (see Refund Policy for details.)
