Shark Scholarship
The Sharks board is proud to offer a scholarship to swimmers who make it to their final year of swimming with the Sharks. We are excited about this program and hope that it will serve to encourage our older swimmers to keep swimming!
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for the scholarship, Shark swimmers shall have:
- completed their Junior Year of high school.
- completed the current Shark Season.
- completed the previous 3 consecutive Shark Seasons.
- have not been previously awarded the Shark Scholarship.
"Completion" of a Shark Season will consist of competing in at least three meets.
What is the amount?
The amount of the scholarship will depend on the amount donated from sponsors each year. Each eligible Shark will receive an equal portion of the donated amount. We also hope to expand and grow on this program in the future if we receive enough sponsorship support.
When it is awarded?
The scholarship will be awarded to qualifying Sharks at the end of season awards banquet in July.
