MEET INFORMATION BCC Sharks @ Brushy Creek Marlins on 07/01/17 Location: 4203 Pasada Lane in Sendero Springs, Round Rock Texas CHECK IN IS AT 6:40A PLEASE ALLOW TIME TO GET FROM YOUR CAR TO THE POOL, AS PARKING IS VERY STRICT 5:30 - Pool open for Setup Crew 6:40 - BCC Swimmer Check In 6:50 - Absentee report due to computer desk 6:30-7:00 - Brushy Creek Swimmer Warm Ups 7:05-7:35 - BCC Swimmer Warm Ups DUE TO ORDINANCE THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE ANNOUNCEMENTS BEFORE 7:30 SO PLEASE NOTE THESE MEETING TIMES. 7:25 - Ready Bench Volunteers report to Ready Bench 7:25 - Judges meeting (held at the end of Lane 8 on the non-starting end of the pool) 7:25 - Timers meeting (held at the end of Lane 1 on non-starting end of the pool) 7:30–7:40 - Event 1 Report to Ready Bench; 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Calls to the Ready Bench for events 2 - 3 7:35 - 1st shift Volunteers - Timers, Exchange/Stroke Judges report to positions 7:40 - Event 1 at the starting blocks (National Anthem) 7:45 - Meet Start Restrooms/Dressing Rooms The pool has limited restroom facilities. The pavilion outside of the pool area has a restroom also that will be unlocked and available. Tent Area Team tents may be set up in the grassy area directly across from the main pool entrance. There will be Brushy Creek volunteers on site to direct you to this area when the set-up crew arrives. Ask for David Gritzmacher or Shannon Rafalowski for assistance. All family tents will have to be set up outside of the pool fence. Only team tents can be set up inside the fence. Parking IMPORTANT! See Map attached. This swim team has a very strained relationship with the MUD and HOA regarding parking. The have stressed the importance that we follow the parking plan exactly. During the meet Marlins Volunteers and Williamson County Sheriff’s Department will periodically be patrolling the parking areas and we will request that cars are moved if they are parked in the wrong areas. If a car is parked illegally citations may be issued or your vehicle may be towed by Williamson County without any warning. Additionally, please watch your speed in the neighborhood. The parking plan includes angled parking along a busy street that families will be crossing. We want everyone to be safe. The parking lot directly in front of the pool will be available on a first come first serve basis. Tell the parking attendants which team you are with when you arrive. You will also be able to unload before parking if there are no more spots in the pool parking lot. Parents should not park on the traffic circle or grass for any reason. Parking priority for your team is as follows: ●FIRST – Pool Parking/Angle parking on Sendero Springs Drive ●SECOND - Hatch House parking lot (3 minute walk to the pool) ●THIRD - Specified and limited neighborhood parking ONLY IF NECESSARY ●NOTE - Swimmers and items can be dropped off at pool They are asking that families bring one vehicle and carpool where possible. It is very important that you follow the map to where parking is allowed. There will be parking volunteers to help direct people, but please only park in places where parking is permitted as per the attached map . Green shading is parallel parking any areas that are red are no parking areas. Invitational Time Standards They are unchanged from 2016. The times are posted on the BCC website. Concessions and Merchandise The Brushy Creek Marlins have a full concession stand with a variety of items (breakfast tacos, grill items, drinks etc.). Our concessions stand has been moved up to the pavilion outside of the pool fence. Our merchandise stand will have goggles, bungee cords, etc. Please feel free to bring your branded merchandise for your team. Meet Information

Meet 4.1 : MAKE UP MEET Forest North Stingrays (Home at BCC)

This is a MAKE UP MEET and will be held at Balcones Country Club. Due to a very tight time limitation we are limiting the number of events for each swimmer to two. The good news is you get to pick the two – so pick your best events! There will be no relays. We will need volunteers for the meet just as any other home meet so make sure that you select those as well. Meet start time: 4:00PM Swimmer and Volunteer Check in: 2:45pm BCC Warm Up: 3:00pm Forest North Warm Up: 3:25pm JUDGES MEETING: 3:45pm TIMERS MEETING: 3:45pm FIRST SHIFT VOLUNTEERS IN PLACE: 3:50pm |

This is an AWAY meet, and will be held at Milburn Aquatic Center.
Meet start time: 7:15AM JUDGES MEETING: 6:45a (by the stairs to the waterslide) TIMERS MEETING: 6:45a (under the clock at the pool entrance) FIRST SHIFT VOLUNTEERS IN PLACE: 7:00a (due to sound ordinance there will be no call for this so please be prepared) SET UP AND POOL DECK: No personal gear (tents, camp chairs, coolers, etc.) is to be set-up inside the fenced pool area. The grassy space surrounding the pool has ample room for families to set-up camp. Please do not block the walking path on the pool deck as well…it gets crowded! PARKING: In the lot at Elizabeth Milburn Park pool, or north of the pool entrance on Sunchase Blvd. according to the signage. There is a marked parking lane on both sides of the street about 20 feet from the pool entrance. Please communicate to your team that the businesses surrounding the pool have been known to tow and to avoid parking in their lots. The police often patrol our lot to look for illegally parked cars (parked in fire lanes, on grassy areas, etc.). Everyone should be aware of the restrictions. |

Meet start time: 7:30 6:25-6:50 - Anderson Mill Warm Ups 6:50 - Absentee Report due to computer table 6:55-7:20 - BCC Sharks Warm Ups 7:10 - Ready Bench Volunteers to Ready Bench 7:10 - Judges and Timers meetings: Timers: under tents at shallow end of pool Judges: near the baby pool/volunteer station 7:20 - 6 & under swimmers seated at the ready bench, 1st call events 1-3 to ready bench 7:20 - All 1st shift volunteers to their designated area 7:25 - final call events 1-3 to ready bench 7:30 - National Anthem /Meet Start Parking Parking at Anderson Mill Baptist Church is encouraged. It is located across Lake Creek from the pool. Please do not to park in front of any driveways or mailboxes, plus no parking on the bridge on School House Lane. See attached map for details. Families must declare each week that their swimmer(s) WILL participate in the upcoming meet. Meet declarations are due by midnight on the Monday before the meet. If we do not have a meet declaration for a swimmer by the Monday at midnight deadline, we will assume the swimmer will NOT be swimming in the meet. Unfortunately, late meet declarations cannot be accepted. |

Meet start time: 7:00 a.m. 5:50-6:20 Sharks warm-ups 6:25-6:55 Visitor warm-ups 6:25 - Swimmer attendance reports due to computer table 6:40 All judges to the meeting area (typically next to the baby pool) 10:00 Bar opens Parking: DO NOT PARK in the Balcones Country Club Parking Lot Empty Lot Across from BCC – Please use empty lot across from clubhouse (Balcones Club / Four Iron) Crest Ridge Circle Parking – Only park on the side of the street that has no houses. Do not park in front of homes on this street. This is for emergency vehicle purposes. Balcones Club Drive Parking – You can park on either side of the street as this street is wider than Crest Ridge. However, pay special attention to designated “NO PARKING ZONES” on Balcones Club Dr., we will make every effort to clearly mark all zones. Families must declare each week that their swimmer(s) WILL participate in the upcoming meet. Meet declarations are due by midnight on the Monday before the meet. If we do not have a meet declaration for a swimmer by the Monday at midnight deadline, we will assume the swimmer will NOT be swimming in the meet.
