Blue and White Practice Meet
The Blue and White practice meet is a great way for swimmers to get a taste of the swim meet experience, and for parents (volunteers) to see how meets are run. We encourage all of our swimmers to attend the meet. Each swimmer will swim a freestyle event (either 25 yards or 50 yards, depending on their age group).
-
IF YOUR SWIMMER WILL BE SWIMMING IN THE B&W MEET you must declare that your swimmer will participate in the meet.
Declare that your Swimmer Will Participate in the Meet
Just like all meets this season, parents will need to use their SwimTopia account to declare that their swimmer will be participating in the B&W meet (see how to declare meet attendance for your swimmer). Deadline for meet declarations for the B&W meet is Monday, 5/15/17 at midnight. -
IF YOU ARE A FAMILY WHO IS NEW TO THE TEAM please volunteer for one of the 25 volunteer positions.
Sign Up for a Volunteer Shift (New Families Only)
The B&W meet is not only good practice for swimmers but for parents as well. If you are a new family and your swimmer will be swimming in the B&W meet, please consider volunteering for one of the jobs that need to be filled to run the practice meet. The meet itself is about one hour long, so the commitment is small, but you will gain some valuable experience in a volunteer position. (See how to sign up for a volunteer shift.)
Shifts at the B&W meet do not count towards your minimum family obligation of volunteer shifts.
