New swimmers will have evaluation opportunities from 2 to 4 p.m. on March 1 and April 12 at Waterloo Swimming on 620.

About the Sharks
Welcome to the Balcones Country Club Sharks Swim Team. The 2026 summer swim season will be our 48th year. As a team, we strive to teach kids the sport of swimming in a fun and enriching atmosphere. Our coaching staff and parent volunteers are key in bringing this vision to life.
Our team consists of 170+ swimmers, ages 4 to 17 years old. We are located in Northwest Austin at Balcones Country Club. The BCC Sharks have two swimming pools that we use for training and racing.
The Sharks Swim Team is a member of the non-profit Northwest Swim Circuit – a group of 13 member swim teams. The swim season is about 8-10 weeks long, beginning in April and culminating with our Divisional and Invitational Meets in June. We have an intra-squad Blue & White Meet, followed by 5 to 6 dual or tri meets either home or away. The Sharks season finishes with an awards banquet after the Invitational Meet.
The Sharks is open to members of the Balcones Country Club as well as nonmembers. Nonmembers simply pay a small facility fee.

Thank you to the coaches, Sharks swimmers and families, sponsors, and friends for an AMAZING 2024 summer season! We had a blast and made a ton of friends! We learned techniques, improved our strokes, dropped time, and broke records! We are the Divisional 4 Champs! See y'all next year!
